The very first the feature is about the Video Tags As soon as you search a video on YouTube, you'll find this option in the "View Details" Option You can easily find the likes and dislikes in the video, As soon as you'll open the video, you'll find the analytics on the right hand side You can find the comments, likes, dislikes and tags which you can easily copy from this video, The next feature I like is of the Comment Sorting Feature, As soon as you'll come up in the comment section (I've installed the free version on my another channel) So I can filter comments easily, YouTube Comment Sort, has limited options, But the TubeBuddy has various options for Sorting Comments I can sort by comments which "Contain a Question" and I will get the comments accordingly, Advanced features would require an update You also get the Word Cloud Option where you find the maximum keywords used in comments, You can get relevant as well irrelevant results from it In videos, you get the Quick Access Bar, If you have to quickly switch over to another video, then you can do by this option Key suggestions are available for up to 3 keywords in a free plan If you will input a keyword, then also it will provide for suggestions (Upto 3 keywords max.)
You'll also get the option of Playlist Action, which is quite good, If you have to sort the playlist automatically, Playlist Section ->Tubebuddy option, then you can change the ordering, All the standard and miscellaneous settings would be available in the Free Version, If I want to sort the most popular ones first, I will apply this in the playlist, and it would automatically re-adjust this in the playlist, So it has sorted my playlist to "Most Viewed" automatically I do not need to manually adjust it now Then there's the Keyword Research Tool It provides maximum 3 keywords suggestions, Suppose, I enter "credit card" and click on Explore, so it will provide with 2 settings: weighted and unweighted, Unweighted usually shows the Keyword score, Weighted shows the score according to the authority of the channel, We'll talk more on this topic, later on So credit card term shows the option towards poor and weak, because of its higher search volume and its competition It is providing me 3 more keyword suggestions over here

It's weighted, but I know, if I'll make a video on the Best Video Editor, it will rank as I make the best content It's A+ Content, so it always ranks So likewise, it gives a rough idea of its search results and monthly estimates, In pro version, you get unlimited keywords, In the free version, it was limited to 3 keywords only It also shows the searches on Web, It also provides with the topics, which are already covered by other creators You can also see the results, to find who is ranking on the top, It would help me in taking a decision as to how I should proceed with my content and the thumbnail of my video, Historical analysis will provide a report from Google Trends, Next feature is about Video Optimisation,
When you will open the video edit page, you'll find the recommended tags option This is my Canva pro video, and I have not added the metadata in this video, so on that basis, it has provided me with the recommended tags, You can see the search code after tags and the greater the search code, the better the rankings would be Then there's a card and end screen templates, Suppose I have made a video and I have included 3 cards in it In future, I want the same cards to appear in the video, So I will save it as a template and then in the future I can use it in my videos, So this is my video, and I want to apply some templates into it So I have previously made a template on it, I will click on Apply Selected Cards, These are the 3 cards, which would be applied on it In the same way, I can deal with the end screen I have made a template for end screen too Google has a better feature for end screen templates, So how can you make a template? For this you can go to cards, and enter the videos for cards, Select the option -> Set this video as a card template and rename the template Now the template is set, it can be used in different videos, Then we have the option for canned responses Means, I can set some pre-defined responses and I can use some shortcuts for it even In TubeBuddy Dashboard, you can find the option of Canned Responses
I have already created a response over here, I will Add Canned Response, I will rename it, There's a placeholder over here, which means, the name or the username would appear here, I will go to reply, TubeBuddy and from here, we will select Canned Response, So as soon as I will select this, the user name would automatically appear, You can do only 1 Canned Response in Free Version and Unlimited in Pro Version You can hide comments, suppose this is the comment which I have already replied, Now I do not want that it should be visible, so I will click on hide button to hide a comment, It won't show up in the comment panel, until and unless I am making it visible once again, To make it visible again, we will click on Hide Button again so it will show all the comments again
I can again disable the comments by re-clicking on the same To edit a playlist, you get extra features, Suppose, for Video Ordering, Standard and Miscellaneous options were used to be available for free version All the analytics like I want to view the videos with higher watch time For this I will click on the option Average View Duration -> Apply Then we have the SEO Studio, It's just for saving the metadata in advance, Suppose I have to enter "Best Video Editor" I will click on start and it will show the title and it will provide the content for the description It will keep improving the score and the suggestions for adding the keywords, according to various types It suggests various tags which I can add It also suggests the types of thumbnails and various suggestions for thumbnails, then click on -> Apply to Video,
I can also save the changes to draft, So metadata of the video can be saved by this I personally do not use it much, but if you're a beginner then it might be useful to you, Then you get Search Rankings, where you can find the keywords and tags through which the video ranks, For this, you'll go to the option of Search Positions, Then you can find the tag for which the video is ranking So you can find the sequence wise ranking of the videos If you will scroll down below, you can find this option, There's a new feature, which is about to be introduced soon and that is about notifying the ranking stage It will notify what is the current rank as per the situation, so this feature is going to launch soon So all the features I have told, are available in the pro version.

So before doing such change, it would ask for the confirmation, Video description and titles can be changed Here I have recommended some hostings, So when the rankings would change, I would have to edit all the descriptions of the videos, So at the time when I would have to do the change, then I will select the text and do the change by replace or edit it one by one I can copy the cards, For example, you can copy the Bulk Cards, Suppose this is the WordPress video, I can do the addition of all these cards in bulk for the rest of the videos, Suppose these are the 2 cards, I will click on continue, I can select the videos, where I want to add cards , so it will give a details, as to where I can add cards, The same applies with the end screens too The best feature, which I have liked the most is UPDATE Suppose I have made a video on BEST FREE CLOUD STORAGE and I have recommended this video a lot In future, I would make a separate version of it in 2022, At that time, I would have to replace this video, Firstly, I would copy its URL I would copy paste the URL of the second video and click on paste and continue, Again it will ask the same question as to in which videos you have to make a replacement So in this manner, I would be able to update the cards of my previous videos, This tool is very useful to me, I keep on updating the versions of the video, As I have made the Best hosting video 2019, 2020 and then for 2021,

The next feature, which I have liked the most is of Schedule Video Update, Suppose I have done a giveaway and it is going to continue for 7 days I have entered a title: Giveaway ending in 7 days, I can also enter the title: Giveaway ending in 7 days, The title of my video would automatically change according to date settings done by me If it would come to the 5th day of the giveaway,, so I can again schedule it along with changing the thumbnail and description Suppose I am doing a giveaway and I want to have more traffic, or if I'm conducting a sale, or selling a course, where I need more traffic and I am running ads on it, so for that, I can use this feature, Schedule Video Update can be used in many other ways, depending on the way you're going to use it as per your creativity There is one more option of Brand Alert, It would basically tell about, whenever a keyword is being mentioned Suppose I set a keyword VPN, so as soon as it is mentioned, I would get a notification, on a daily or weekly basis It's not very good, as I can't sort it by View or Subscribers from different countries, I'm not having many features for sorting, so it's just a plain simple alert feature only.
You can also view the Channel Backups, If your channel is suspended in In the future then you should have a backup for it You will have to do manual backups for videos, where you require to save each and every video, If you click on start a new backup, then all the tags in the video and description, All the titles and the metadata's CSV can be saved, so that in future you can use it to shift to a new channel, in case you require to do so There's another feature to track keywords As I have entered the keywords for my channel, in the same way, you can add keywords too It provides the ranking, reports If I want the rankings for March 2022, I want to know the rankings for the Best Cloud Storage Videos, to find out my rank even, I was on 6th rank for Best Cloud Storage Video 2021 I can see ranks of my videos and also find out the changes in the ranks Let's come onto its Legend Plan, It's Approx. pricing is $39.20 per month You get all the features of the pro and star plan, The best feature of it is Video A/B Testing, The thumbnail of the video can be A/B Tested This is the homepage of the TubeBuddy App, we'll go to the option A/B Test I have setup thumbnail on it Sometimes we can't understand which thumbnail would perform better, Here are my 2 choices on the thumbnails. So if I compare both of them, the 2nd thumbnail has performed better,
It has its high numbers in CTRs and clicks, There are also details available for the watch time, I can find the differences in the values I can also find some more details for this: Views, Avg. View Duration You can also find details on the daily views, Traffic sources can also be found out, So, its providing detailed analysis for A/B testing It becomes important for advanced users, where the views on the video, depends on a thumbnail YouTube has always focused on a good CTR Video's thumbnail would decide the CTR of a video, What should be the keywords in the thumbnail, how it must be used, It can help in identifying such points, I wish for an inbuilt A/B testing feature in YouTube, One more feature in the legend plan is Click Magnet, Click magnet is in beta version, but I have liked the feature, Click magnet helps in identifying the opportunity for a video, So here's the interface for click magnet, It will help me in finding the videos with high CTR and good watch time, So according to me if I make videos on such topics, then I can get good performance, So let's go to the elementor inspector, which would help me in finding the CTR I can do a comparison on the thumbnails which had my face, were high in CTR or not Which thumbnails has emotions on it, and where I have achieved the highest CTR So by using AI, they have summed up on various results,
The best was of CTR Opportunities, It helps me in finding the videos with good performance, and with high watch time WhatsApp privacy policy video is having the highest watch time, and good performance, It has good opportunities but its CTR is low, So, for this, I need to work on my thumbnail for this video, We're having some videos on Dnews, where I can work on the thumbnails of some videos, Blogging video has okayish performance and its CTR is low So it helps me in identifying the opportunities and that's the feature I have liked the most The Advanced Analytics feature is not very much useful, as all such features are also available in YouTube Analytics, The next feature is of Competitor Upload, When a competitor uploads, you'll get an email for it This is also possible while you subscribe the channel and click on the bell icon You won't get an email from YouTube as this functionality is now ended So if you require an email then you can use this feature, You also get a comment spotlight feature,
As I have mentioned the comment sort feature, if I refer to the advanced features I can do the changes depending upon who has subscribed to the channel If you have Patreon Support, then you can find out the subscribers who support you on this one more feature which you can find out in the Legend, Plan is the Retention Analyser If I click on this, it helps me in knowing, the watch time of my videos and how much percentage of it is viewed by people, For example, here are my videos, and I want to sort it out by 1 minute,
so the audience have viewed my video on SSL Certificate 80% viewers have watched my video on such topic, If I want to sort it by 2 mins, then there's a News video which is been viewed by 71% users, Then there is a video of SSL certificate which has 70% views, So likewise I can make videos on how I have framed such videos, and why users were hooked onto the video for a minute or two, I can learn all this from these videos, Retention percentage is also available, which is basically, the same information available in the YouTube Studio, Just in a different format, it's available in the retention tab So these were the features available in its legend plan, So far I have covered every plan and every features available in it I have also explained in detail, as to how you can use it Now we'll talk about some general features, If I talk about its interface, it is not good, it looks old, it's very outdated and it's very slow, It has lagged and their app is not good, Thumbnail generator is good, but you can use Canva Free Version I have done its review, you can find on "I Button" Free version of canvas can be used and it is quite better than this If I talk about its Pros, you can find the suggested tags in their cheapest plans, Bulk editing tool is quite good, it works efficiently, A/B testing tool is one in a kind, it's very unique and it comes in the expensive plan If I talk about its Cons, Their website is slow and it lags, the interface is not good and is outdated Keyword research is not good, and you get only 1 license to use on 1 channel
If I took the legend plan, I can use it on only 1 channel and not on multiple channels, Should you use the TubeBuddy? The free version can be used and it definitely has the benefits, VidIQ or TubeBuddy's free versions can be used There's no harm in using the Free Versions If I talk about paid version, I like TubeBuddy's Paid version when you already have the videos uploaded on YouTube If you want to use their Bulk Content Tool or A/B Testing tool Both of these would be helpful only when you have the videos and a large audience with you If you're confused, you have the free trial, for 30 days along with the features mentioned by me, Then you can decide whether you should use this feature or not, Now the question is on the choice: VidIQ or TubeBuddy?
